POSITION TITLE: Maintenance HVAC Technician

Result: Provide hands on support in all functions of maintenance including but not limited to: Filter replacement, troubleshooting equipment and controls, HVAC problem solving. Interacting with service contractors, reviewing call center tickets for repair remedy, performing air balancing and low voltage repair. Performs duties to deliver of excellent customer service and sustain high levels of client satisfaction.

All tactical work for which this position is accountable.

  1. Ability to perform basic maintenance services for HVAC Systems.
  2. Inventory and preparation of supplies and tools needed for assigned job.
  3. Has knowledge in HVAC technology, diagnostics, and problem solving.
  4. Ability to troubleshoot multiple problems in a fast-paced retail environment.
  5. Properly fill out all paperwork required for each job.
  6. Great customer service skills.
  7. Must be able to take on different projects with little notice.
  8. Ability to work with little supervision at different locations.
  9. Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team.
  10. Strong ability to exercise sound judgment and find effective solutions.
  11. Must have own tools.
  12. Ability to safely lift maximum of 100lbs.
  13. Able to tolerate temperatures above 120 for extended periods of time.
  14. Able to work overtime, nights, and weekend hours.
  15. Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and attic stairs and maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.
  16. Ability to make important recommendations that will improve clients in home comfort and quality of life.

  1. Specialize in air conditioning repair, controls, installation and troubleshooting.

Result: Assist in achieving the company’s Vision by providing management and support with information and recommendations related to all service business opportunities. Performs duties to deliver of excellent customer service and sustain high levels of client satisfaction.

  1. Responsible for the management, growth and profitability of the HVAC Services Division.
  2. Identify, organize and coordinate all HVAC Services Division workload, including scheduling and prioritizing of manpower and materials.
  3. Implement growth measures to increase sales volume and development of the Service Division.
  4. Oversees the management of service staff, ensuring that service calls are on-time and complete, adhering to the service schedule, work plan, estimated dealer cost and man-hours.
  5. Ensures that the work process is standardized and performed in a similar manner by all service personnel.
  6. Ensures that Client relations and interface are professional and responsive.
  7. Ensures that work rules and regulations are clear, understood and are enforced.
